Common Pantum Issue Clusters

  • Toner Chip Errors: Pantum is extremely strict on third-party toner chips. ‘Cartridge Error’ usually means the chip scanner rejected the supply.
  • Wifi Wakeup Failures: The printer enters deep sleep and fails to wake via wireless print jobs. Use a direct USB connection to perform a firmware update.
  • Faded Output: If output is faded despite a new cartridge, the transfer roller requires cleaning.
