Canon Printer Test Pages & Diagnostics

Canon PIXMA and MAXIFY series are famous for high-fidelity color, but their ‘Fine’ printheads are prone to thermal clogging if left unused for more than 10 days.

Common Canon Issue Clusters

  • B200 / 1403 Error: These are ‘Voltage Trip’ errors. Power down for 60 minutes to let the resistors cool.
  • Missing Cyan/Magenta: Canon heads use separate vacuum seals for color and black. See our Missing Color Guide.
  • Paper Feed Skew: Canon ‘Rear Tray’ models are prone to dust on sensors. Use the Alignment Test to check for skew.

Note: Canon technicians will demand a ‘Nozzle Check’ pattern. Run our CMYK Test Page to provide a cleaner diagnostic sample than the standard internal check.
